Damage Liability Acceptance

In the event that linen, furniture, fixtures, or other material aspects of the property are damaged as a direct result of the guests’ actions or the actions of anyone the guest provides access to the property, the guest accepts the full and final cost as determined by Hosted Property Management (hereinafter known as “the host”) to rectify these damages.

Damages will be determined based on current market values of the item/s damaged plus 20% and the host reserves the right to include lost revenue should the damages be determined by the host to be so severe that the property cannot be rented out until repairs/replacements are completed.

Payment for damages will need reflect in the host’s bank account within 48 hours of being notified by the host. If payment is not made, the guest hereby agrees to pay the nightly rate of the property until such time as the funds reflect in the host’s bank account.

All properties are inspected after the guest leaves and inspections may be carried out during the stay if determined to be necessary by the host.

The guest acknowledges the rules of the property below and hereby accepts liability for any penalties or fines incurred as a result of the contravention of the rules of the property or relevant body corporate.

All persons entering or renting the property do so entirely at thier own risk, no claim for personal injury or death howsoever caused will entered into by either the managing agents or property owner.

HOUSE RULES

  1. No Smoking – Fine of R5000
  2. Tampering with smoke detectors is a fire and safety hazard. The fine for which is R10 000 as it poses a sever risk to the property.
  3. No loud noise after 22:00 (10PM) – Fine of R2000 to R5000
  4. No more than the specified number of occupants as conveyed by Hosted. 
  5. No more than the specified number of guests (2 for a one-bed unit, 4 for a two-bed unit, etc.) are allowed in the unit after 22:00. 
  6. No events or parties – Fine of R5000
  7. All body corporate rules must be adhered to

The Guest hereby agrees and understands the above in full and acknowledges that Hosted reserves the right to remove the guest without any refund in the event that any of the above rules are broken.
